How We Can Help
Our weight loss programs are physician-guided, focusing on a permanent weight loss plan that reduce the extra pounds and reset the patient’s endocrine system and brain in order to correct bad eating habits. Patients are losing weight through a healthy eating plan and a correction of hormonal and micronutrient imbalance, acid-base balance, Autonomic Nervous system imbalance and detoxification. Some of these plans focus on, besides the healthy daily eating plan, special weight loss sauna, massage, reiki and/or aromatherapy sessions. These packages also aim at reducing the patient’s high blood sugars, high blood pressure and fat.

Whether you are looking to lose weight, improve digestion, enhance mental clarity or heighten energy levels, we can help.
Reflexology is an art and a science. It is a type of pressure point therapy, stimulating reflex areas in the feet, hands and even ears. These areas are mini maps of the body and the reflex points correspond to specific organs, glands and systems of the body. The goal of reflexology is to return to or maintain a state of balance within the body. The principal is similar to acupuncture (but without needles) and is a beneficial complement (not substitute) for medical treatment or overall stress/anxiety reduction.
Reiki is a Japanese technique that is administered by “laying on hands” to channel energy through the Chakras. Chakras are centers that house energy. We have 7 Chakras throughout our body each having a direct relationship to the part it is associated with. This natural and safe method promotes stress reduction, relaxation and healing of the mind, body and spirit using spiritually guided life force energy.
The practice of Reiki focuses on life force energy which flows through everything in the universe. People with low life force energy are more likely to get sick or feel unbalanced while people with high life force energy are more capable of feeling healthy and happy. To promote the body to heal faster, Reiki is often used in conjunction with functional and conventional medical treatment. Immense benefits can also be gained when it is used as a stand-alone treatment by removing mental, emotional, spiritual and sometimes physical blocks to create positive changes.
Aromatherapy is a non-invasive therapy that utilizes plant material, including its essential oil, to assist with an individuals’ physical, mental and spiritual well being. Essential oils are natural products extracted from plants through various types of distillation. What makes them “essential” is that the oil takes on the aroma and energetic properties of the plant. They typically originate from seeds, roots, trucks, leaves, skin (citrus) or flowers. The controlled use of essential oils reduces the effects of stress, restores balance and promotes physical, psychological and spiritual well being. Our Aromatherapist teaches our patients more than how to use essential oils. We incorporate the tenets of good health along with the use of vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, rest, good nutrition, exercise, and counsel habits in maintaining a good work/life balance.
Wellness Coaching Sessions can be done from anywhere in the world and do not require an initial in-person visit. Our team can tailor programs to fit your needs, goal setting, accountability and more. We offer advice and guidance in each consultation, however, we do not chart these discussions or order labs.
Group Visits offer an innovative, interactive approach to healthcare that brings patients, with common needs, together with one or more healthcare providers.
- As a group, patients meet with a physician or advanced practitioner and, in some cases, a nurse or behavioral specialist
- Groups meet for 1-1.5 hours, at periodic intervals that are appropriate for the medical needs and conditions of the group
- The group structure emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to the medical care visit and has been used for a wide range of medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, menopause, spinal disorders and adult wellness
- Each session includes an individualized medical review by a licensed practitioner, patient education and a facilitated group discussion
- Billing is based on standard medical and behavioral billing practice
Infrared Sauna Therapy
With infrared sauna technology, you can also lose weight, relax, relieve unwanted pain, increase your circulation, and purify your skin. The heat generated by an infrared sauna will cause your core temperature to increase, which can also lead to an increased heart rate — the same increase in heart rate that you experience when exercising. When your body has to work harder to lower your core temperature or keep up with an increased heart rate, your body will burn more calories, resulting in weight loss. An article, titled Effect of Sweating, in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that a 30-minute infrared sauna session could burn roughly 600 calories.
